Allen-Bradley Ultra3000 2098-DSD-005X-DN Digital Servo Drive is new from surplus stock. The Ultra3000 2098-DSD-005X-DN is a digital servo drive with indexing and DeviceNet capabilities. These units can also be labeled as Ultra3000i 2098-DSD-005X-DN. A servo drive is an electronic device that translates low-energy command signals from a controller into high-energy voltage and current delivered to a servo motor.
The command signal can represent the desired position, velocity or torque. Digital Servo Drives are special electronic amplifier used to power electric servo motors.
