Vertical clamps are lightweight and especially designed for lifting (stainless) steel sheets, profiles or structures in a straight up direction. Made of high quality low carbon alloy steel, it’s a compact design and easy to use. Vertical Lifting Clamps make light work of lifting sheet metal in a vertical position by gripping down securely to steel plate using by the teeth like jaws. The Nobles Rig mate Vertical Plate Clamp is designed as a standard plate clamp for the lifting and turning of steel plate, steel structures such as H and I beams and the lifting of steel pipes etc. As with all RIG-MATE products the clamp has a durable and lightweight design.

Total stations are the primary survey instrument used in mining surveying. A total station is used to record the absolute location of the tunnel walls, ceilings (backs), and floors as the drifts of an underground mine are driven. The plate clamps are for lifting sheet metal to allow easier welding practices. The lifting tool is inserted into the receiver plate and locked into place. A hook is attached directly through the elongated hole of the lifter and your plate is ready to lift. There is no added shackle needed to attach to it allowing for easy, quick and most importantly safe use.

Toggle clamps are quick-action clamping tools that operate using an over-center locking principle known as a “toggle action.” Utilizing a system of levers and pivots, the clamping handle moves a linkage to its center position and the clamping arm meets the center to hold the fixture or workpiece in a locked position.
