A PCB relay is a smaller relay that can mount directly to a PCB. These relays tend to have high voltage ratings and may mount to a board as through-hole components due to their size and weight. A relay is used whenever there is a need to control a high voltage circuit with a second low power circuit. The Relay Plug is a small board containing two miniature relays, rated up to 3A @ 250V (both AC and DC). This plug is designed to switch low voltage, low power lights, motors, fans etc. Terminal Block Relays are used between a controller (e.g. PLC) and a high-power load (a motor), mainly for 2 reasons: When a controller is not able to drive the load directly (due to different voltage requirements and insufficient driving current) For electrical isolation.

The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is very important in all electronic gadgets, which are used either for domestic use or for industrial purposes. PCB design services are used to design the electronic circuits. Apart from electrically connecting, it also gives mechanical support to the electrical components. The relay permits a small amount of electrical current to control high current loads. When voltage is supplied to the coil, small current passes through the coil, resulting in a larger amount of current passing through the contacts to control the electrical load.

A relay allows circuits to be switched by electrical equipment: for example, a timer circuit with a relay could switch power at a preset time. For many years relays were the standard method of controlling industrial electronic systems. A printed circuit board (PCB) is the board base for physically supporting and wiring the surface-mounted and socketed components in most electronics.
