Polyethylene Spiral Conduit

LC Code: LC10799

Availability: In Stock

Spiral PE pipes are generally made in large sizes with walls of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Advanced technology is applied to manufacture them. They are used for fluid transmissions in gravity conditions & low pressure. Polyethylene is strong, extremely tough and very durable. Whether you’re looking for long service, trouble-free installation, flexibility, resistance to chemicals or a myriad of other features, high-density polyethylene pipe will meet all your requirements.

High density polyethylene (HDPE) piping systems have been used for municipal and industrial water applications for over 50 years. Within PPI’s Building & Construction Division, HDPE pipes are used for ground source geothermal applications, also known as earth energy or geoexchange systems. Resistance to corrosion, polyethylene pipes do not rust, they do not allow the creation of cavities, are not sensitive to stray currents and do not promote bacteriological growth (iron-oxidising bacteria). They can pass immune through areas characterised by a strong presence of chemically active environments.

Flexible, translucent/waxy, weatherproof, good low temperature toughness (to -60’C), easy to process by most methods, low cost, good chemical resistance. PE pipe (which stands for polyethylene pipe) is a broader term that refers to any thermoplastic pipe made from ethylene gas. High density polyethylene (HDPE) is a thermoplastic polymer produced from ethylene, and is the material used to make Poly Pipe, also known as PE.
