The DEWALT Dieless Crimper (DCE350) features a universal 4 pusher design and crimps #8 – 750 MCM Copper and Aluminum cable and connectors. An innovative head design with guard rails helps to protect crimping head when crimping small diameter cable. A 360° pivoting head allows the crimper to maneuver in tight spaces. Forward and reverse triggers offer convenient one-handed operation. The tool features Crimp Connect® software, an onboard intelligence system integrated into the tool that provides detailed reports of date, time, force, and successfully completed cycles of the crimps completed by the tool. Crimp Connect® software also reports on tool calibration and service history. An integrated LED interface is used to communicate power on or power off, battery state of charge, successfully completed cycles of the crimps completed by the tool, and if recalibration or service is needed. A bright LED light helps to illuminate the crimping area when working in dark spaces. The tool also includes attachment points and a shoulder strap for convenience when transporting it around the jobsite.

Crimp tools are a varied collection of devices used to join materials or components by pressing them together and creating a seal or crimp. One of the most common uses of crimping tools is the attachment of connectors to the end of electrical cables.  From the Manufacturer. The Greenlee HK12ID Dieless Hydraulic Crimping Tool has a dieless indent style crimping head that does not require interchangeable crimping dies. The crimping head rotates 350 Degree to get into tight locations. Two-speed pump provides rapid crimping cycle time.

Crimp not only will provide the greatest surface area for electrical contact, but it also prevents oxygen or moisture from reaching the metal of the wire and terminal, reducing the possibility of corrosion. The benefits of crimping over soldering and wire wrapping include: A well-engineered and well-executed crimp is designed to be gas-tight, which prevents oxygen and moisture from reaching the metals (which are often different metals) and causing corrosion. A hydraulic crimper is a tool used to connect the ends of two cables, wires, or other similarly flexible materials such as hydraulic hoses to a matching hose end. This tool allows the user to create crimped connections through a hydraulic fluid mechanism to transfer force from the user to the tool.
