Allen-Bradley Ultra3000 2098-DSD-005X-DN Digital Servo Drive is new from surplus stock. The Ultra3000 2098-DSD-005X-DN is a digital servo drive with indexing and DeviceNet capabilities. These units can also be labeled as Ultra3000i 2098-DSD-005X-DN. A servo drive is an electronic device that translates low-energy command signals from a controller into high-energy voltage and current delivered to a servo motor.
The command signal can represent the desired position, velocity or torque. Digital Servo Drives are special electronic amplifier used to power electric servo motors. Typically the command signal represents a desired velocity, but can also represent a desired torque or position. Bulletin 2098 Ultra™ 3000 Digital Servo Drives support simple standalone indexing as well as multi-axis integrated motion. All power sizes are available with indexing, SERCOS interface and DeviceNet™ networking options. Integrate this drive with the ControlLogix™ or SoftLogix™ platform via SERCOS interface for integrated motion.
