Electrical control panels are essential for industrial automation. They provide higher-level monitoring and control of the various functions of production machinery, allowing manufacturers to define, organize, and meet production objectives. Distribution electrical panels are responsible for distributing power, supplying power, and protecting users. They have the function of bringing power to junction boxes and to all the various electrical devices. Some basic examples of a control system include cruise control in a motor vehicle, temperature control in a building, the chemical concentrations in drinking water, and the speed of a conveyor belt in a process plant.

Control panels include the virtual control panel, the remote control panel, and the physical control panel. You can use these control panels to perform almost all of the same functions. Circuit-breakers are regulatory devices for overcurrent protection: overloads and short circuits. Their function is to act when a fault is detected, that is to say, to cut off the electricity supply of the installation and allow its restoration when the anomaly has been solved.

A PLC panel is a special steel box that contains electrical components required to run a factory machine or process. PLC stands for Programmable Logic Controller, an industrial-hardened computer usually found inside factory control panels. CS is used for maintaining constant speed (cruise control), constant temperature (climate control), steering, suspension, engine control, and control skidding (antiskid system). In industry, the term automation is very common.
