NFB Power Distribution Terminal is released for use by attaching it directly to the breaker. A terminal block (also called as connection terminal or terminal connector) is a modular block with an insulated frame that secures two or more wires. Terminal blocks are connectors that terminate a single wire and connect it to a circuit or other system. Terminal blocks come in a range of shapes, sizes and ratings, but always terminate a single wire (single pole) and are never multi-pole.
Most terminal blocks are usually modular and mounted on DIN rail. That allows us to increase the number of terminals according to the requirements. Terminal blocks keep connections much more secure and wires well organized. The terminal is part of the connector. Connector is a general term. In fact, the milspec connectors we commonly see usually include housing and terminal.
The housing is mostly plastic, which plays a protective role, and the terminal is a metal, which plays a conductive role. A terminal is an electrical accessory. It is an endpoint and acts as the reusable endpoint to a conductor, where you can connect circuits. In this sense, a terminal is almost a connector.
