Power Distribution Systems are a wide range of Raised Floor, Screed Floor, Desking Solutions and Overhead Distribution Solutions. When people have easy access to power and data, they do their best work. The part of the power system that distributes electric power for local use is called as distribution system. Generally, a distribution system is the electrical system between the substation fed by transmission system and the consumer’s meters.

There are three basic types of distribution system designs: Radial, Loop, or Network. As you might expect, you can use combinations of these three systems, and this is frequently done. Power distribution companies collect payments from consumers against their energy supplies (purchased from generators) to provide necessary cash flows to the generation and transmission sectors to operate. There are four types of distribution channels that exist: direct selling, selling through intermediaries, dual distribution, and reverse logistics channels. Each of these channels consist of institutions whose goal is to manage the transaction and physical exchange of products.

The primary purpose of an electricity distribution system is to meet the customer’s demands for energy after receiving the bulk electrical energy from transmission or subtransmission substation. There are basically two major types of distribution substations: primary substation and customer substation. Electric distribution system planning is a forecast, analysis and solution planning cycle for maintenance and development of the utility grid. The goal is to maintain safe, reliable, and affordable service while also efficiently operating the existing electrical facilities that make up the grid.
