The Harmony electromechanical relay series includes the RXM miniature relays. These relays are designed to be plugged into RXZE sockets for easy installation. The RXM relay is a 4 C/O (changeover) relay, meaning it has four sets of contacts that can switch between two different positions. It has a current rating of 6A, making it suitable for moderate power applications. The control circuit voltage for the RXM relay is 24VDC, which is commonly used in industrial applications. One of the notable features of this relay is the one-step lockable test button located on the front. By pressing the blue pushbutton, the test button is activated momentarily, allowing you to check the relay’s operation. It can then be locked in place by flipping up the green part, ensuring that it remains in the desired state.
Adjacent to the test button, there is a mechanical indicator that displays the contact status of the relay. It consists of an orange flag that moves to indicate whether the contacts are open or closed. Additionally, there is a green LED on the front panel that illuminates when the relay is energized. The RXM relay is suitable for a wide range of applications including industrial machines, packaging equipment, textile machinery, HVAC systems, automation control panels, low/medium voltage switchgear, motor controls, PLC interfaces, power supplies, building or medical equipment, and lighting controls.
To use the RXM relay, it should be paired with a compatible RXZE socket. The socket options include screw clamp, screw connector, and push-in terminal types, providing flexibility in the connection method.
