A terminal block is a modular, insulated block that secures two or more wires together. Factories use terminal blocks to secure and/or terminate wires. In their most basic form, terminal blocks consist of several individual terminals which are arranged in a long strip. Terminal blocks are connectors that terminate a single wire and connect it to a circuit or other system. Terminal blocks come in a range of shapes, sizes and ratings, but always terminate a single wire (single pole) and are never multi-pole.

A terminal block consists of a modular housing with an insulated body that secures two or more wires together. Terminal blocks—also referred to as terminal connectors, connection terminals, or screw terminals—are used in a wide array of applications where electrical systems need to be safely connected.

An electrical terminal box is an electrical structure that is used to house specific connections but lacks any room for future expansion or any addition of more connections later on. A terminal block (also called as connection terminal or terminal connector) is a modular block with an insulated frame that secures two or more wires together. It consists of a clamping component and a conducting strip.
